How is RID different from other organizations?

RID has never accepted money or gifts from the Alcohol Industry.

All of RID’s National Chapters are autonomous. They create their own programs and agenda based on the needs of the local community.

RID spends 75% of it’s budget on programs, education and services; only 25% on salary or fund raising.

RID was awarded an “A” rating among non-profit organizations by the AHA.

 

What is the “Without Warning” program and how can I order it?

Doris Aiken produced a short video documentary called “Without Warning” which includes true stories of alcohol overdose among teenagers as told by parents. This educational and cautionary video can be shown to students in high school or college classrooms. It comes a program and materials for classroom discussion and further learning.
